Xprt is a platform designed exclusively for software engineers who aren't just familiar with code - they live it, breathe it, and excel in it. It's the go-to destination for top tier engineering talent to unite, showcase their prowess, and set new standards in the industry.
At Xprt, we understand that the traditional recruitment process can be cumbersome and repetitive, often failing to capture the full spectrum of an engineer's capabilities. That's why we've reimagined the CV. Xprt equips engineers with dynamic tools to create an online CV that's not static but evolves - just like the technology they work with.
Here, your profile does more than list your experiences; it's a comprehensive hub showcasing your projects, code repositories, blogs, and more. It's all about giving a complete, multifaceted view of your expertise and achievements.
With Xprt, you're not just another resume in a stack. You're a living, breathing testament to your engineering skills, where every project you share, every article you write, and every line of code you commit tells a part of your story. This is where the best of the best engineers converge to change how the world recognises and values their expertise.
Currently, Xprt is in its exciting early stages, focusing on building a robust community of top-tier engineers. Our platform is specifically designed for software engineers who are experts in their field - those we proudly call ‘Xprts’. If you're someone who thrives on coding and engineering, creating innovative solutions, and continuously advancing your technical skills, Xprt is the place for you.
Looking ahead, we're excited to unveil Xprt Jobs, a feature aimed to seamlessly connect Xprts with fitting opportunities, allowing them to uncover roles that resonate with their profound expertise. Concurrently, we will introduce specialised accounts for recruiters and employers. If you're a recruiter or employer aiming to engage with the crème de la crème of engineering talent, these accounts will be your gateway to such interactions. Sign up to stay informed about early access, and be among the first to leverage this innovative matching feature.
Creating a profile on Xprt is straightforward, here’s how you can get started:
- Sign-Up: Create an account using your email address, or opt for the faster route by using your GitHub or GitLab account.

To display your contributions, first ensure the "Show my public contributions" option is active in the edit profile dialog.
As we aim to respect your privacy, we will only ever show contributions which are made public through either your GitHub or GitLab profile. If you would like to enable your private contributions to be public, please follow the below instructions:
GitHub:

- Open the dropdown menu labelled "Contribution settings", located above the contributions chart.
- Ensure "Activity overview" and "Private contributions" are checked.
GitLab:
- Go to your GitLab user profile settings, i.e. https://gitlab.com/-/user_settings/profile

- Ensure that "Don't display activity-related personal information on your profile" remains unchecked.

No, Xprt is not a recruitment service.
Our primary goal is to provide a dedicated platform for software engineers to create an online professional profile that effectively showcases their career journey, skills, projects, and achievements. Xprt is designed to foster connections among engineers, allowing them to share knowledge, collaborate on projects, and engage with a community of like-minded professionals.
However, we are excited to announce the upcoming launch of Xprt Jobs. This new feature will bridge the gap between our Xprts and potential job opportunities. While Xprt remains a community-focused platform, Xprt Jobs will introduce a new dimension where our members can discover career opportunities that align with their expertise, and employers can find the top-tier talent within our community.
Currently, Xprt is in its developmental phase, focusing on building a robust community of engineers, known as Xprts, from across the globe. While we work on refining our platform, the direct link to an Xprt's profile is the primary method to access and view other engineers' profiles. These links can be shared among the community, allowing users to connect and explore each other's professional journeys.
We will enhance Xprt with a search feature that allows users to find other engineers based on names, skills (utilising tags), and location. This functionality will make it easier for Xprts to discover peers with similar interests, collaborate on projects, or seek inspiration from the achievements of fellow engineers.
Stay tuned as we continue to evolve Xprt into a more interconnected and searchable community for software engineers.
Even before the official launch of Xprt Jobs, you can harness the platform's robust features to prepare for and even discover job opportunities, here's how:

At Xprt, we deeply value your privacy and understand that you might prefer to keep your professional details more private. Here's how you can control your profile visibility and ensure information is shared on your terms:
